Pretender Labs is an independent software studio founded by Dmytro Mikhalyov.

The goal isn't to release as many apps as possible. It's to build software that's useful, enjoyable to use, and worth maintaining.

Why Pretender Labs

I build what I wish already existed.

I started building apps because I couldn't find the ones I wanted to use. Instead of waiting for someone else to make them, I learned, experimented, and published.

Today Pretender Labs is where those ideas become products. If others find them useful too, even better.

Pretender Labs began as a personal project to build the mobile experiences I couldn't find elsewhere.

I enjoy building software that feels simple to use, even when the technology behind it isn't. Right now I'm working on non-custodial apps for Solana Mobile and improving them based on user feedback.
